Subject: Awaiting the birth of a new born (short story)
I worked as a yacht builder in florida after work i'd go to this resturant bar
on a pier in the atlantic ocean and have a couple of beers while this friend of
mine would court this waitress that wouldnt have anything to do with him but he
was my friend so day after day there i was. well she came walking thur the door she
didnt see me and I didnt hardly notice her, then our eyes met and we both just came
alive Ive never beleaved in love at first sight but it does happen. Then she was talking
to someone else ,but looking at me ,we kept trying to talk to each other but someone
would set in .the next day i thought about her all day and went back to the resturant
again.she worked there as a waitress .that day she was even more beautiful than the
day before.we said hello but that was about it , she was working and again it felt like
theres not enough time in this world.after a couple of beers at the bar i didnt see her
any more so i decided to walk home on the beach kind off clear my head ,and figure out
a way to see her tonite. It was a sunny day the sand pipers were running up and being
chased buy the waves .and there she was on the beach an angle standing in the sand.and
we talked and talked, we went to highschool right next to each other in detroit.and we
have everything in common, it was scary at first i thought we might be related.I think
the one that will be the one youll always love comes up when your not looking for her
( or him) and when you least expect it.well shes 7 months pregnant, and the hormones are
flying and I love Dee Dee more now than i did when i first met her
